Every child deserves a safe place to sleep, and every widow deserves the chance to thrive. Based in rural Kisumu, Kenya, Oasis of Hope and Compassion is a grassroots ministry dedicated to transforming the lives of the community’s most vulnerable.

Our Mission
At Oasis of Hope and Compassion, our mission is simple yet profound: to bring hope to the hopeless.
We are dedicated to meeting the urgent physical, emotional, and educational needs of parentless and hungry children, while simultaneously empowering widows to discover, embrace, and achieve their full potential. Through holistic care, we aim to break the cycle of poverty in rural Kenya and build a foundation for sustainable, long-term growth.

We currently provide direct, life-changing care to 40 orphans and 30 widows in our community.
Our core programs focus on delivering critical resources to help our family survive and succeed:
Accessible Education
Providing free, nutritious food, vital medical assistance, and clothing to children who have lost their parents.
Accessible Education
Ensuring every child under our care receives a free education, opening doors to a brighter, self-sufficient future.
Widow Empowerment
Providing counseling, skills training, and community support to help widows reclaim their independence and support their households.
